1KZTE Hiace Stainless Steel Turbo Down pipes!

Our friends at Black Cat Racing Garage on the West Coast have teamed up with a few local Hiace owners to develop an incredible stainless steel 3-inch turbo downpipe for automatic 1KZ Hiaces.

Each piece is TIG-welded by August at BCRG, and after seeing it in person, we can honestly say the craftsmanship is outstanding.

Benefits:

  • Lower EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) → helps keep your head cooler

  • Faster highway speeds

  • Improved acceleration, especially uphill

  • A more authentic turbo diesel sound

  • Better clearance in tighter spaces thanks to the oval design

Important Note:

This downpipe is designed as the starting piece. You’ll still need a fabricator (any local exhaust shop) to complete the rest of the 3-inch system, either out the side or the back. This approach keeps shipping costs down and lets you finish the setup locally with stainless.

Manual 1KZ Owners in LA:

If you’ve got a manual-transmission Hiace and are in the Los Angeles area, August is looking for a van to use for mock-up so he can develop a version specifically for the manual models.
